• Passive House 004 is inspired by the white Croft houses on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The simple footprints, selective use of windows and thick walls of the Croft Houses make them an ideal typology for passive house inspiration.

Triple glazed windows are place discerningly to maximize views and allow light to penetrate the interior without creating glare and heating load issues.
A Gothic Revival breakfast room adorns the south facade of the house in this option. Passive houses can take on any number of architectural styles.
